Accreditations &

            Memberships

ISG demonstrates its commitment to providing high-quality education to our students through its
accreditations and memberships. As members and/or participants in the following organizations,
we collaborate with the international school community to stay on the cutting edge of research
            and evidence-based best practices.

United States Office of Overseas Schools (OOS)

The U.S. Department of State provides assistance to overseas schools through
direct and indirect support designed to promote an American-style pro-
gram. Assisted schools must meet specific requirements in order to obtain
and maintain this status. ISG is proud to have maintained a relationship with
the Office of Overseas Schools (OOS) for over 60 years.
Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and
            Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS)

All ISG schools are fully accredited by MSA-CESS. The 2024-25 school year will
involve a reaccreditation visit from MSA, which will give ISG the opportunity to
showcase how it lives its Mission, Vision, Beliefs and Graduate Profile.
            British Schools Overseas (BSO)

Having passed their British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection in 2023, BSD
and Sara Village School continue to be members of BSO. BSO schools un-
dergo rigorous inspections, similar to those in the UK, to ensure they meet
specific criteria set by the British government and offer academic standards
and qualifications like IGCSEs and A levels that are recognized worldwide. By
successfully passing its inspection and continuing to be part of BSO, both
schools demonstrate their adherence to the standards set and their commit-
ment to providing high-quality education to their students.
            Council of International Schools (CIS)

All ISG schools are members of the Council of International Schools (CIS), an
international community of schools committed to delivering high-quality in-
ternational education and providing students with the knowledge, skills and
abilities to act as global citizens.
Through membership in CIS, schools have access to resources, child protec-
tion training and networking with other top-tier international schools.
