Global Languages
The global languages team focused their
efforts on several key areas aimed at en-
hancing the quality and coherence of lan-
guage education at ISG: they articulated the
global languages offerings at each school,
aligned course descriptions across schools
to ensure consistency and clarity and re-
viewed the necessary resources to support
effective language instruction. Furthermore,
to ensure the success of our offerings, the
team aligned the curriculum with estab-
lished standards and designed a process for
reviewing materials.
Technology
Technology Lead Teachers met to review
various elements of the technology curric-
ulum across all grade and year levels and
also reviewed pathways for learning robot-
ics, computer programming and technol-
ogy aligned to the International Society for
Technology Education (ISTE) standards. The
team also assisted in the development of
our Artificial Intelligence (AI) guidelines and
training materials for staff and students.
Furthermore, this team led the efforts for
each school, and the ISG district as a whole,
to be awarded the Common Sense Me-
dia School and Common Sense Media Dis-
trict designations. Earning recognition as a
Common Sense District shows our commu-
nity that we are committed to providing safe
and innovative spaces for students to thrive
as they harness the potential of technology
for learning and life.
